Alya, her sister is too a Tweto. While her father was in Alaska to help promote the sport of hockey, they got to know each other. Era Alaska was founded by her father and mother when he was in love with her. Ariel and Alya each grew up in Nome Census in The state of Alaska. Ariel went to Emerson College while Alya received a communications degree in communications from Chapman University. The acting career of Ariel began when she was just the teen age, when she appeared in the TV series Wipeout. When Ariel was required to write about the pole she was unable to see, but was right in visible, she gained fame. In response to the audiences interest in the female, the Twetos decided to participate in a reality television show that was to explore their everyday lives in Alaskan bush. Jim, her father is sceptical but agrees to allow the camera film within his office. Era Alaska is still run by him, an Aircraft Pilot. Flying Wild Alaska from Discovery Channel is a well-loved reality series that brought Tweto's aviation challenges into focus. With the parents of Ariel, Jim and Ferno both being pilots it's only natural that Ariel took an interest in aviation from a young time. Flying Alaska's 2011-2012 season is a follow-up for Ariel in her training to become a pilot. Ariel eventually gets her pilot's license in April 2012. Ariel is the one who runs her family's business after her dad retires. One of the biggest problems facing the majority of Alaskans is the high rates of suicide in teens which is as high as seven times higher than the national average. Ariel was inspired to co-found a charity, Popping Bubbles. In this group, she travels to school and youth groups to tell them the importance of being able to have dreams and live life to the fullest rather than give in to depression.
